The first day the grounds are open

We raised this place beam by beam over a year. On 24 October we open it, and we want it full of people rather than photographs.

How the day runs

12:00

The gate opens

Mulled wine at the gazebo and a walk round the grounds with us, for anyone who wants the story of each corner.
13:30

The grill goes on

Food cooked on the spot, on the gazebo barbecue. It is in the ticket, not charged separately.
15:00

The grounds are yours

Background music, the fire lit, long tables under the pavilions. Children get the whole lawn.
17:00

Evening comes in

We close while there is still light, so you drive back in the clear. Anyone who wants to talk about a booking stays on.

Where: Joița, just outside Bucharest. Come off the A1 motorway at the Bolintin exit, or along the București – Târgoviște road. Our own parking for about 20 cars, on site.
What to wear: Autumn clothes and shoes for grass. We are outdoors, with a fire and roofed pavilions, but late October makes itself felt.
If it rains: We move everything to 31 October, same time. We tell you 48 hours ahead and you need do nothing.
How you pay: On arrival, in cash, or by transfer if you prefer. Write to us and we will send the details.
Children: Welcome, and the lawn is theirs. Under 7 come free, just tell us how many.

We hold your place now and email you the confirmation. You pay on the day.
