Barbecue

The barbecue you carry nothing to

A barbecue with friends that does not depend on the weather in the park, on finding a free spot, or on the neighbours.

A barbecue in the park means hauling a cool box, hunting for a free table and hoping it does not rain. A barbecue in someone’s garden means minding the neighbours. This is neither: you take all 4,000 sqm for yourselves, with the barbecue already installed under a roof and a refrigerated display beside it.

You bring the meat, the drink and your own people. We impose no suppliers, we do not sell food and we charge no corkage.

The timber gazebo, roofed and open on the sides, where the barbecue sits

An equipped barbecue, under cover

It sits in the gazebo, with its own tools and chopping boards, and it works in the rain because there is a roof over it. You bring nothing from home but what goes on it, and we lay the wood and charcoal on request.

A refrigerated display beside the grill

Meat, salads and drinks stay cold from morning to night, with no cool boxes and no ice bought on the way. It is the difference between a three-hour barbecue and one that lasts all day.

Tables and chairs for everyone

Already set out under the two roofed pavilions. No folding chairs to carry, no sitting on a blanket, and nobody gets wet if the rain starts halfway through the meal.

You disturb nobody

We are far from houses, so nobody calls at eleven at night. The sound system is for background music, which is exactly what you want at a table where people sit for hours and talk.

Frequently asked questions

What does it cost?

You pay per guest: 45 lei per person for a half day Monday to Thursday, 60 at the weekend, and 65 or 90 for a full day. A minimum of 15 people is billed midweek and 20 at the weekend. A barbecue for twenty on a Saturday, six hours, comes to 1,200 lei for the whole grounds.

Do I bring the grill or the charcoal?

Neither. The barbecue is installed in the gazebo and comes with its own tools and boards. We lay the wood and charcoal on request, for a small charge, if you tell us in advance. You bring what goes on the grill.

Is tableware included?

It is not in the rate, but we put it out on request: plates, glasses, cutlery, pots. Tell us in advance how many of you there are. Those who come with a caterer get it from them anyway.

Can we barbecue anywhere in the grounds?

The barbecue is used in the gazebo, where it is installed, for safety and to keep the lawn intact. Everything else is yours: the lawn, the woodland and the pavilions.

Does it work in winter?

The venue is entirely outdoors, and the pavilions are roofed but open at the sides, so there is no way to heat them. Between November and March we discuss case by case. The good season runs from April to October.
